What we can offer in our guardianship services?
We are not just regular educational guardians, with your agreement we can be a lot more for your child's whole person development.
An Education Guardian is someone who has been appointed to care for a pupil in the UK whose parents are not around and who has been delegated temporary Parental Responsibility by the parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s).
An Education Guardian’s responsibilities usually include caring for the pupil as would a responsible and caring parent by, for example, being in regular contact with him or her and providing advice and support as needed.
An Education Guardian will typically care and take responsibility for them if he or she is unwell, suspended or expelled.
The role may also include being authorised to make certain decisions concerning the pupil on the parents’ behalf, such as consenting to emergency medical and dental treatment and dealing with matters of a disciplinary nature.
The Education Guardian may arrange travel for the pupil and provide or arrange hosting accommodation (homestay).
FES Educational Guardianship also provides mentoring and whole person all-rounded development resources and support; we excel in helping your children to integrate into British culture and local life by establishing connections to the local community for your children, especially when it is outside of the school term time.

Overview
Fusion Education Support (FES) is an established educational guardianship company with the necessary experience to provide the highest levels of pastoral and educational support to international students and their parents whilst attending boarding school in the UK.
Aims
Our aim is to enhance the lives and educational experience of all our guardian students to help them develop to become a full person. At Fusion Education Support, this means that every child is given the opportunity for wider contact with the real-world, nature and the community outside of boarding school.
Through extra-curricular experiences, we aim to bridge the gap between international and British cultures to help remove the associated worries and concerns for students and their parents about attending UK boarding school.
Our aim is to attract and employ professional personnel who fully meet the standards of current safeguarding and child protection legislation and best practice. We aim to maintain those standards of care, safety and supervision to enhance the pastoral, social, cultural and educational wellbeing of all our students.
Principles
Everything that FES does is held up by the principle that a happy student is a successful student. That means we encourage them to succeed, experience new activities and develop the life skills to fulfil their potential. We provide mentoring, educational resources and support for students all-rounded development.
We recognise that educational years are central in shaping a person, their successes and future wellbeing. We encourage every student to fulfil their potential and we excel in providing an environment outside of school that helps children integrate into British culture and local life with connections into the community.
Practice
We support the principles that AEGIS promotes and uphold the ethos and values of the schools our students attend at all times. We expect all parties we deal with to abide by our principles.
We respect and support the rights, religion and customs of the international student.
We ensure all students have 24 hour emergency contact available with FES in case of emergency.
We promote and provide best practice in the guardianship and hosting of all international students at schools, colleges and universities.
We provide both pastoral and educational support as outlined in any literature and agreements and ensure that all publicity and information is accurate, conveying realistic expectations of the level of service and accommodation offered.
We ensure all records are maintained up to date.
